Minnan Institute of Technology was founded in 1998, and was upgraded to an ordinary undergraduate institution of higher learning in 2008 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. In 2012, it was granted the right to confer bachelor’s degrees. In 2016, it passed the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching work by the Ministry of Education. The school is located in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, a famous historical and cultural city.
