The Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art is a modern art school which builds on the inspiring legacy of the ingenious Czech-American designer and visionary Ladislav Sutnar. The school offers a broad spectrum of disciplines focused mainly on design and applied art, with internationality and interdisciplinarity being its priorities. Its projects and activities connect art, design, and technology and include cooperation with the technical faculties of the University as well as many Czech and foreign cultural and educational institutions.

The faculty runs the Ladislav Sutnar Gallery, annually awards the prestigious Ladislav Sutnar Prize, organizes ArtCamp – the International Summer School of Art, and other special events such as the Jiří Trnka International Symposium and Boundaries – the International Photography Symposium.
