Formerly the Oriental Academy of Industrial Technology, Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology (AEUST) is the first private university in Taiwan to start offering two-year programs. AEUST began in 1968 as a technical college and blossomed into a full-fledged university. Established by Mr. Yu Ziang Hsu, the founder of Far Eastern Group, the school envisions itself as a space for developing virtue and nurturing talents for nation-building and economic prosperity.
