Since 1895, the National Taipei University of Education (NTUE), known as National Taipei Teachers College, was the first school established in Taiwan. The school was a teacher training college, and then it was upgraded to a comprehensive university since 2005. Now, NTUE has 3 Colleges in Education/ Humanities and Arts/ Science, and consist of 18 academic departments and 3 international Master’s degree programs.
NTUE is centrally located in Taipei, the main capital of Taiwan and the biggest city. Taipei offers a wide variety of things to see and do, appealing to visitors and students around the world. NTUE is in the heart of Taipei’s cultural and financial district, and near to the world renowned National Palace Museum, Taipei 101, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Ximending, Yangmingshan National Park and many other city attractions.
