Inspired by 'The Scramble'—the moment of primal survival when the 'Abandon Ship' order is issued—this piece reimagines salvaged maritime gear. Genuine leather is utilized as the core material for its ability to preserve weathered textures and withstand the harshness of the sea. Through aggressive lacing, oversized hardware, and a deconstructed form, the design reflects the frantic nature of evacuation while highlighting leather’s role as an ultimate protective barrier at the brink of survival.
