My name is Shaked Harush, I am 24 years old from Israel, and fashion has been an inseparable part of me since childhood. At the age of 12, I began exploring fashion illustration, creating garments for dolls, and studying how fabric and movement influence personal expression. For me, fashion is much more than just clothing—it is the most powerful and precise way to express myself. Bold colors, unique print combinations, and an unapologetic personal style are my language. I truly believe that what we wear can affect our mood, boost confidence, and communicate more than words ever could. Beyond fashion, I love experiencing moments and seizing every opportunity life offers. I enjoy working out at the gym, and in the past, I was a dancer specializing in ballet, jazz, modern dance, and hip-hop—disciplines that have shaped my understanding of movement, rhythm, and composition, which influence my design work. I love to travel, explore new places, immerse myself in different cultures, dine out, and spend time with creative and inspiring people. For my graduate collection, I chose to critically and humorously examine the world of dating apps, reimagining them as a modern-day supermarket of relationships. Users, equipped with a "shopping list" of desired qualities, browse through an array of "tempting products"—a concept that raises questions about how we consume love in the digital age. My collection draws inspiration from pop art culture, featuring bold color palettes, striking graphics, and familiar imagery from the world of consumerism, aiming to spark conversation and create a connection between fashion, culture, and technology. In general, my design philosophy blends simplicity with complexity, the everyday with the extraordinary, constantly seeking the intersection between high and low culture. I believe fashion is a platform for self-expression, a tool for engaging with society, and a way to push boundaries. Each collection I create tells a new story—one filled with life, humor, and color.

This jacket-bodysuit was created as part of my final project collection, titled "RelationShop," which provides a holistic and humorous critique of dating apps. It explores how these apps have transformed the search for love into a process akin to shopping in a supermarket, where users navigate a wide variety of tempting products in the search for the perfect match. The concept behind the collection revolves around the commodification of human relationships, turning people into coveted products that can be purchased and consumed. The jacket has undergone a process of objectification and flattening, inspired by Moschino's leather jacket bags. I decided to create a "human bag", where people are no longer just individuals, but products to be bought. This flattening is reflected in the graphic prints that mimic seams, cuts, buttons, and zippers—the signature details of a leather jacket. The use of contrasting colors emphasizes the print and adds a sense of graphic depth, while maintaining the illusion of flatness. Additionally, the cut lines of the jacket form a heart shape in the front, symbolizing the search for love in the digital age, while the back of the bodysuit resembles the yoke of denim shorts, connecting the garment to the culture of consumerism. The bag strap is detachable, allowing the jacket to be worn as a standalone fashionable and comfortable piece, making it versatile and practical. Comfort is a key element in my design philosophy, and this piece embodies that idea by merging style and ease. Every aspect of this jacket was crafted with both innovation and practicality in mind, aiming to provoke thought on how modern relationships and love have been commodified. Through bold colors, graphic elements, and a playful yet insightful approach, I want to challenge conventional perceptions of both fashion and human connection.
