I'm a freshman from the Ling Tong University Fashion Design Department. I have a strong curiosity for fashion and design, and I look forward to continuously growing and exploring in this field. My design inspiration comes from daily life and a close connection with nature. I enjoy immersing myself in the world of plants and incorporating this into my designs. During my time at university, I am excited to participate in various creative projects and competitions to gain diverse experiences and establish my own aesthetic concepts and style. Apart from design, I also enjoy painting, which helps me express ideas and visual effects from my mind.

The Apple Trillogy

Category: Footwear

Competitions: Taiwan Region

Design Concept: The Apple Trilogy This shoe design centers around the iconic symbol of the apple, weaving together its natural vitality, sensory allure, and emotional warmth through three distinct forms: liquid apple, a bitten apple, and apple pie. Liquid apple represents the pure, flowing energy of nature. The upper features translucent or glossy materials, mimicking the sensation of apple juice gliding over the skin — fresh, fluid, and alive. Smooth lines and soft textures evoke a sense of motion and lightness. The bitten apple introduces a moment of desire and impulse. A visible bite-shaped detail on the side or toe of the shoe symbolizes curiosity, temptation, and the boldness of taking a chance — a metaphor for indulging in life’s immediate pleasures. Apple pie marks the final note in this sensory story, embodying comfort, nostalgia, and home. The outsole or heel incorporates warm, golden-brown tones and lattice patterns reminiscent of a freshly baked pie, grounding the design in familiarity and emotional richness. This shoe isn't just a fashion piece — it's a story in motion: from the untamed freshness of liquid, to the visceral act of the bite, to the sweet, grounding embrace of memory. A trilogy of growth, temptation, and belonging.
