I am a passionate and energetic fashion design student from Taiwan, currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Design. Ever since I entered this field, I have been deeply drawn to the creative process behind garment construction and textile design. I approach every challenge with enthusiasm and determination, always striving to push beyond my limits. I am especially interested in knitting and enjoy using yarn as a medium to express texture, warmth, and creativity. The process of turning a simple thread into a unique, wearable piece brings me great joy and satisfaction. My academic experience has equipped me with a solid foundation in pattern making, sewing techniques, and fabric knowledge. I enjoy both the technical and artistic aspects of fashion, and I am constantly seeking opportunities to improve my skills and explore new ideas. I believe that fashion is not only about appearance but also about expressing one’s story, values, and culture. Being able to study fashion has been an exciting and fulfilling journey. I am grateful for every opportunity to learn, create, and grow. With a curious heart and a strong work ethic, I am eager to contribute my creativity and dedication to the fashion industry.

My design centers around the ideas of rebirth and dialogue. Fishing nets, once tools for harvesting life, have now become silent killers of the ocean. These ghost nets, along with plastic waste abandoned at sea, entangle marine life and cause irreversible damage. I repurpose these symbols of destruction into creative materials, reassembling and weaving them to give them new life. In my work, I incorporate waste collected from beaches—such as bottle caps, broken plastic, and ropes. These once-overlooked items become integral parts of my design. No longer merely trash, they serve as traces of our interaction with the environment. Through this act of regeneration, I invite viewers to reflect on our daily consumption habits and their impact on nature. My bags are not just functional objects—they are narrators of the environment. They tell the complex story between humanity and the ocean and express a hopeful vision for the future: when we learn to cherish and respect nature, it will respond with kindness. Through design, I aim not only to create beauty but also to establish a new value system—where waste is not seen as useless, but as a powerful, poetic response to the Earth.
