I am a third-year student at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and my major is textile design. I´ll be graduating in the spring of 2024. As a textile designer I am always open to new ideas and fascinated by new innovations. In the future I´m very interested in working with pattern design as well as upholstery fabrics.

Lantern Bag is a Chinese paper lantern inspired leather bag. It is made with recycled upholstery leather. The idea of it is to use it whenever you are celebrating, hence a bag for celebration. Lanterns are usually a mark of celebration for the Chinese people. Creating this concept is my way of celebrating my culture.
