Hi, I’m a 21-year-old student currently studying Fashion and Business at Shih Chien University, Kaohsiung campus. Rather than following the rules, I prefer to see things from my own perspective — to observe, to feel, and to discover the quiet beauty hidden in everyday life. For me, design isn’t just a skill; it’s a way of seeing the world and expressing who I am. I've always had a natural sensitivity to aesthetics. I love exploring different fields, like flipping through unknown storybooks. Whether I’m wandering through handmade markets or diving into secondhand stores in back alleys, I always find details that spark inspiration. That curiosity is what led me into the world of design — and keeps me excited to keep discovering more. Shoe design is a brand new experience for me, but I’m not afraid of the unfamiliar — I actually find excitement in the unknown. I believe beauty is everywhere. It can be found in the lines and textures of a pair of shoes or hidden in the light and shadow of a street corner. Design shouldn’t be confined — it can be wild, or it can be gentle. Through this journey, I hope to see with my eyes, create with my hands, and develop works that truly reflect my style. Most of all, I want others to see the kind of beauty I believe in, through the designs I create.

Through the concept of carrying tools, this design reconsiders the role and significance of land in contemporary life. Farmland is not only a site of production, but also a system defined by division and order, embodying the relationship between humans and nature while reminding us of restraint and circulation in the use of resources. In modern society, bags serve as carriers of work essentials and daily belongings, extending personal movement and lifestyle. In contrast, the shoulder pole, as an essential tool in traditional agricultural societies, carries harvested crops, transforming the land’s produce into resources for everyday living. These two establish a parallel in both function and behavior, forming the basis for design translation and reflecting the flow of resources from production to use. This design further translates the spatial logic of farmland into the structure of the bag, while adopting the carrying form of the shoulder pole to shape its overall appearance. Through its use and interaction, the bag reflects the processes of distribution, carrying, and access. At the same time, a modular and detachable system is introduced to enhance flexibility and extend the product’s lifespan, reducing the likelihood of obsolescence due to single-function limitations. In terms of material selection, durability and longevity are prioritized. The use of leather allows the product to develop a natural patina over time, reflecting the sustainable design principle of extending the product lifecycle. Within the fast-paced rhythm of contemporary life, the design seeks to reconnect users with the land, transforming the bag from a functional object into a medium that carries cultural meaning, everyday memories, and sustainable values.

The Earth is no longer as we once knew it. Extreme weather, collapsing glaciers, burning forests, vanishing species… Beauty is slowly fading from the world. As human civilization approaches its tipping point, the Earth strikes back—and begins its own rebirth. One day, an unknown lifeform emerged. They possessed wings like butterflies, yet could not fly. Their skin was smooth like water, but their bone structures were hard, intricate, and organic— a crystallization of nature and technology in coexistence. No one knows their origin— Are they alien beings, or mutations born from the Earth itself? But one thing is clear: They have become the new symbol of a post-evolved Earth. This pair of shoes was born from the inspiration of these mysterious creatures. Its design draws from their appearance and vitality, translating the lines, textures, and dynamic resilience of their anatomy into the language of footwear. The tall, twisted silhouette of the shoe mirrors a body mid-evolution, writhing into new form. A deep blue envelopes the surface, representing the cold and quiet aftermath of a world in catastrophe. Interwoven cuts of military green echo remnants of nature’s memory. Organic orange structures wrap around the body like fibrous cocoons, symbolizing the struggle of life breaking free. Slender, elongated arcs stretch outward like wings that long to fly but cannot— portraying a state of weightless resilience. The heel grows in an interlaced form like dried branches, supporting the entire structure— A metaphor for life tenaciously sprouting from rubble and scorched earth. This is more than just a pair of shoes. It is a parable of Earth’s rebirth, The first cry of a mutated lifeform after civilization’s collapse. Blooming in chaos, nurtured by despair, It reminds us: Do not wait for a new species to be born before learning to protect our planet
