The impact of the global epidemic has completely changed people’s lifestyles and brought about major changes in work and learning patterns. In order to comply with epidemic prevention regulations, many people have begun to adopt remote collaboration and online teaching. These changes have not only promoted the rapid development of science and technology, but also spawned many new forms of cooperation and business models. Faced with such challenges, We need to explore how to coexist with the new normal in the future and build a more flexible and inclusive society. Promoting social issues through the power of design, such as sustainable user experience, circular economy, shared services and welfare design, has become the current mainstream trend. Through design co-creation, we gather the wisdom of the masses, discuss ways to share resources and collaborate, and create more value for society. The Design Institute of the Republic of China actively promotes academic research and exchanges, and regularly holds academic seminars, dedicated to improving domestic research capabilities and levels. At the same time, the society also hopes to promote interactive exchanges among the design academic community, the public sector and the industry through these activities, achieve the effect of mutual learning and cooperation, and further strengthen the connection between the three parties of industry, government and academia, creating more opportunities for the integration of theory and practice.
