My name is Bester Dominick, an entrepreneur from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. I hold a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance, and I am the CEO and Founder of Asilia African Craft, a handcrafted footwear brand dedicated to combining African creativity, sustainability, and community impact. At Asilia African Craft, we specialize in handmade orthopedic-friendly footwear combining genuine leather,crocheted nylon twine and rubber. Through my work, I aim to enhance health awareness within the community by producing comfortable and supportive footwear that promotes foot health, while maintaining unique African design and craftsmanship. Beyond business, I am passionate about empowering others through skills development. I actively train youth and women in the production of our handmade products, creating opportunities for employment, creativity, and economic independence within the community.
