Rarinda Changraksa

Chulalongkorn University

My name is Rarinda Changraksa, and I am currently a fashion student preparing to enter my third year at Chulalongkorn University. I have always been fascinated by the hidden connections between things particularly mythology, rituals, folklore, and systems of belief. I am deeply drawn to the ways stories, symbols, and cultural traditions shape human emotion, identity, and perception, and these ideas often become the foundation of my creative work.

Tarot cards are not merely illustrations created for aesthetic purposes; they are complex systems of symbolism designed to convey psychological, spiritual, and prophetic meanings. The imagery, colors, gestures, compositions, and objects depicted in each card function as coded visual languages that invite deep interpretation and introspection. This concept has been further developed into the design of fashion accessories, particularly bags and footwear. By distilling the visual elements of Tarot cards down to their symbolic essence, these encoded meanings are transformed into wearable forms through silhouettes, structures, and functional design details. The result is a collection that bridges symbolism and fashion, translating mystical narratives into contemporary accessories that are both expressive and practical.
