Rebellion x Elegance

Category: Apparel

Competitions: International

Project Name: Rebellion x Elegance Rebellion: Intense, Sharp, Rule-breaking. Elegance: Calm, Composed, Orderly. As I grow older, society increasingly tells me what I should and should not do. The idea of “being yourself” also becomes more difficult, as I start to care more about how others see me, and I become surrounded by labels and definitions. Between social expectations and inner desire, I have found a personal balance. I have also brought this desire for rebellion into my work. It feels like: “I understand the rules, but I choose my own way of existing.” In this collection, I use a special technique—surgical stitching. In my work, this technique becomes a design language. It represents both pain and repair. It reflects a continuous process of self-exploration and the sense of order built through healing. The stitching lines on leather becomes a trace of growth and a record of ongoing reconstructions. In the end, it forms a different kind of elegance—one that emerges through inner stability.
