I am a multidisciplinary designer passionate about creating jewelry and accessories that tell meaningful stories. My work blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics, using sustainable materials such as banana fiber, brass, and leather. Shaped by my Kenyan heritage, I draw inspiration from nature, culture, and everyday experiences to design pieces that are both expressive and environmentally conscious. I aim to challenge conventional ideas of beauty by incorporating local artisanal and traditional craftmanship techniques and elevating natural materials into statement pieces.

The Leaf Collection

Category: Accessories

Competitions: Africa

The Leaf Collection In nature, the leaf is more than just a symbol of life, it is a living expression of the planet’s resilience and rhythm. Each stage of a leaf’s life tells an environmental story: it sprouts in vibrant green, capturing sunlight, breathing life into the air, it transforms in tone gold, copper, brown as seasons shift, and finally, it withers and falls, not as waste, but as nourishment for the earth. The Leaf collection is a tribute to this cycle designed from leather, banana fiber and brass all materials that honor the natural world by celebrating its impermanence, repurposing its beauty, and minimizing harm. These pieces reflect both the ephemeral nature of leaves and the enduring strength of the land. Our planet is losing its leaves too soon its trees, forests, and green lungs are fading. This collection is a call to action: Plant a tree. Protect what gives us breath. And a reminder that just like the leaf, we are here not just to exist, but to give.
