Loving fashion and the spirit of innovation, I always strive to seriously invest in design expertise, while also developing complementary skills that help expand perspectives and application capabilities. I am willing to try new roles to explore the intersection between personal creativity and practical value. I believe I can make positive contributions and be a potential contestant in this year's competition.

SAO LA

Category: Accessories

Competitions: International, Vietnam

The Saola, also known as the 'Asian Unicorn,' is one of the world's rarest mammals, native to the Truong Son Mountains of Vietnam and Laos. Since its discovery in 1992, the Saola has been listed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List and in the Vietnam Red Data Book. To date, no biologist has observed a Saola in the wild; our rare glimpses of the species come solely from camera traps. However, illegal snaring, habitat loss for agriculture, and infrastructure projects pose grave threats. Furthermore, the small, fragmented population makes it difficult for individuals to find mates. Despite periods of skepticism regarding its continued existence, a 2013 camera trap image in Quang Nam province reignited hope for the survival of this 'living treasure.' This leather bag serves as an ambassador, carrying the message: 'Don't let the Saola's last footprint disappear.' By choosing this design, the owner displays not only refined aesthetic taste but also a commitment to biodiversity. It is the intersection of sustainable fashion and natural heritage, making luxury more meaningful than ever."
