SUSANA SOUSA

From a catalan mother and portuguese father, I was born in the city of Barcelona. Since I was a child I showed interest in everything artistic and the expression of my person through it. It was always clear to me that I wanted to study Fashion Design, which is why I studied at IED Barcelona. My design style is based on the conception of garments as sculptures and the concern for volume; as well as the mixture of tailoring and moulage to give rise to more experimental garments. During my career years, I combined university with work at Hermès, where I learned a lot about this material and developed my love for high-quality leather items. Which, in part, has also influenced my style and choice of materials when creating a collection. In addition to completing my training with an internship at Loewe Ibérica, where leather goods and leather garments have a great weight.
