My name is Asirsam Gutema. I am an aspiring designer aiming to be one of the best designers in the world. I am very focused,competitive,a team person and creative.
About two years ago, I was part of a team project where we explored the idea of creating an accessory inspired by cowrie shells. The collaboration and creative energy of that experience stayed with me. Over time, I found myself revisiting the concept—not to design an accessory, but to incorporate the essence of cowrie shells into a larger design in a new way. This piece is the result of that reflection. It honors the original idea, but with a more personal interpretation, using cowrie elements as integrated details rather than the focal point. It represents how a shared idea can evolve into something deeply individual.

This article is made of ethiopian sheep leather also known internationally as Ethiopian highland leather which has the best quality and makes article made of this leather stand out this outfit is made for a strong, standout,Optimistic, excellent and a pan-african woman as its name indicates. This celebrates the women in our society and shows their boldness and character. This outfit also uses handmade traditional cloth of ethiopia which shows the culture and history of Ethiopia. The leather used is finished from crust level and the colors are hand sprayed. This preserves the natural feel and properties and most importantly it minimizes the harm on the environment as it uses less chemicals. This article aims to start a new movement globally to harmonize leather with our traditional wear and maintain the appeal of leather worldwide.
