Shih Chien University

Before attending Shih Chien University, I studied at an international school abroad, where I gradually discovered my passion for design. Growing up, I was always deeply drawn to art and visual culture in many different forms. Whenever I travel, I naturally find myself visiting museums, galleries, and architectural spaces, constantly observing how beauty can be expressed through culture, space, objects, and human environments. What fascinates me most is the diversity of aesthetics — from the atmosphere of a city and its cultural scenery, to architectural structures, material details, and product design. These experiences continuously shape the way I observe the world and influence my creative perspective. Over time, I realized that I did not only want to appreciate beauty, but also create it myself. I wanted to transform the emotions and visual experiences I encountered into something tangible and personal. Design became the medium through which I could express my own perspective and reinterpret the beauty I see around me. This is why I developed such a strong passion and dedication toward the field of design

“This work redefines leather not as a surface material but as a geological medium. Through stratification, fracture, and tension, time is not applied onto leather but embedded within its structure — transforming natural imperfections into the primary architecture of form.”
