Hello!! My name is Rainey Lowery and I am recent graduate from Savannah College of Art and Design where I studied fashion design. Leather is my favorite material to work with and was used for all of my garments in my senior collection. Most of my designs are all black leather so because of this I love finding new ways to add texture on top.

This is a project I have designed using the techniques I learned during my senior collection further exploring these leather surface manipulations. I wanted to design an evening wear gown that combined interesting textures and the sturdiness of leather.
