I am a college student with a deep passion for fashion design. For me, fashion design is the perfect way to capture beauty and express myself. I love exploring diverse styles and never limit myself to fixed patterns. I enjoy experimenting with combinations of different fabrics, cuts and design elements.I observe little details in daily life and turn my imaginative ideas into tangible garments. Outside classroom studies, I take part in various design practices to polish my skills in sketching and pattern making, gradually developing a design style that is vivid and dynamic.I take part in this competition with enthusiasm and thoughtful ideas, hoping to express my unique design philosophy through my works. I stay modest and open to exchanging ideas with others. I look forward to learning from outstanding peers, pushing myself further, and creating pieces that integrate beauty, practicality and creativity.

《赤叶烬章》《Chapters of Scarlet Ashes》

Category: Apparel

Competitions: China Mainland

Chapters of Scarlet Embers draws inspiration from the life cycle of autumn red leaves, from their vibrant bloom to withering decay. It blends the rigidity of leather with the soft fluidity of tulle, creating a collection that balances sculptural silhouettes with narrative depth. The design uses deep red and caramel tones to capture the color transition of leaves from vivid to desolate. Through pleating, twisting, and heat-treated "burned edges," leather is shaped into three-dimensional forms mimicking leaf veins and curled foliage, embodying the tension of natural decay. Layers of organza and tulle evoke the movement of drifting leaves, contrasting with the substantial leather to create a dialogue between solid and ethereal. In this series, leather texture reconstruction not only replicates the scorched edges and veins of withered leaves but also breaks traditional silhouettes through asymmetrical deconstructive tailoring, turning every fold into a flowing narrative language. The gradual color gradients, like dappled light filtering through frost-kissed red leaves, imbue the garments with a layered visual rhythm. Each piece is like a silent poem, documenting the traces of seasonal change, exploring the beauty of nature and the versatility of leather, and infusing garments with emotional depth beyond aesthetics.
