This project involves the design and handcrafting of a classic Oxford shoe using high-quality full-grain vegetable-tanned leather. The Oxford, known for its closed-lacing system and timeless elegance, is constructed with a leather upper, breathable leather lining, and a durable leather sole reinforced with a rubber heel. The shoe includes a structured heel counter for added support and longevity. Traditional craftsmanship techniques such as Goodyear welt construction or Blake stitching are used to ensure durability and reparability. This project emphasizes sustainable practices, using natural adhesives and ethically sourced materials. The final product reflects both functionality and refined aesthetics, suited for formal or professional wear.
