Shih Chien University

I’m currently studying Fashion Design and Merchandising at Shih Chien University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I love turning ideas into garments, and I’m especially drawn to the challenge of working with leather to create bold yet refined pieces. Whether I’m sketching by hand or draping fabric on a mannequin, I see design as a way to tell stories through shape, structure, and material.

Cygnus Redux

Category: Apparel

Competitions: Taiwan Region

Cygnus Redux is a transformative fashion concept inspired by the rare black swan, symbolizing elegance, resilience, and rebirth. Designed with sustainability at its core, this look blends sculptural silhouettes with modular function, allowing for two distinct styles in one garment. The design features a dramatic oversized bow, quilted textures, and detachable elements that offer versatility without compromising visual impact. Materials include upcycled vegan leather and recycled padding, chosen to reflect a commitment to slow fashion and conscious design. Cygnus Redux invites viewers to see fashion not only as wearable art, but also as a narrative of personal and environmental transformation.
