Hello everyone, I’m a student at a fashion design institute and someone who enjoys trying new things. This is my first time participating in a competition, and I’m looking forward to gaining a lot from this experience and adding more color to my life
Inspired by the pangolin, this design explores how individuals self-regulate under high-pressure environments.
The pangolin protects itself by curling up and adapts to its surroundings by unfolding—mirroring how modern individuals shift between states in a fast-paced lifestyle.
Through detachable pockets and a multi-functional bag design, this piece reduces the need for excess items and minimizes resource waste, while reflecting a balance between inner defense and external connection.
This design takes inspiration from the unique form and survival instincts of the snake. Devoid of limbs, snakes rely solely on slithering to move, adapting seamlessly to their environment. In the wild, non-venomous snakes often use constriction to capture prey—an instinctive and powerful method of survival. This piece captures the intense moment of a snake in the act of hunting, symbolizing its strength, resilience, and the primal drive to survive in the natural world.
