Marc Wagner

Fashion Institute of Technology

Multidisciplinary designer bridging fashion, industrial design, and human-centered innovation. With a background in fashion design, product development, and material studies, I create work that spans garments, accessories, and spaces. My projects, from a jewelry collection displayed at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts to collaborations with CFDA, and Reinvented Elegance, reflect my belief that design is about both function and impact. I am passionate about craftsmanship, storytelling, and pushing traditional materials into contemporary applications, combining technical precision with creative exploration. Through every project, I strive to create thoughtful, meaningful designs that elevate everyday experiences while celebrating innovation, sustainability, and timeless design principles.

My goal is to become part of the next generation of luxury craftspeople, creating products that balance timeless craftsmanship with thoughtful innovation. I want to design objects that people form lasting connections with, pieces that are used, repaired, and passed down rather than replaced. Through the Legacy Duffel, I explore how storytelling, personalization, and material honesty can elevate everyday objects into meaningful heirlooms while developing production methods that make handcrafted luxury more accessible without compromising quality or intention.
