My name is Phuong Anh, I'm a third-year student at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. My major is Fashion Design and Footware. I have previously participated in the International Cultural Design Workshop of Taiwan and Vietnam - Application of AI in Fashion Design (2025). By participating in this competition, I want to show international friends the beautiful image of my beloved Vietnam – the bamboo tree, a symbol of the resilient spirit of the Vietnamese people.

"Bamboo Breathing" is a sophisticated fusion of traditional aesthetics and contemporary fashion, inspired by the bamboo tree—a timeless symbol of Vietnamese resilience and character. Targeting the youth performance and runway segment, the project artfully integrates natural elements like solid bamboo wood and hand-woven slats with modern materials such as leather and mesh. Notably, the collection champions sustainability by utilizing Bamboo Lyocell and eco-friendly leather alternatives, underscoring a commitment to preserving cultural heritage while upholding environmental responsibility in the future of the fashion industry.
