Shih Chien University

I’m a designer focused on streetwear, with a strong interest in turning everyday observations, subcultures, and personal emotions into a clear design language. At the core of my work are “authenticity” and “attitude.” I often use oversized silhouettes and layered styling to express the freedom and raw energy that define street culture. When it comes to design, I pay close attention to materials and details. I like experimenting with unique fabrics, patchwork techniques, and functional elements, making sure each piece is not only visually striking but also wearable in real life. A lot of my inspiration comes from music, skate culture, and the streets around me. By deconstructing and reconstructing these influences, I shape a style that feels personal and distinct. To me, design is more than just something you wear—it’s a way to express who you are. Through my work, I hope people can feel confident being themselves and use clothing to tell their own stories and attitude in everyday life.

Scornful Romance

Category: Footwear

Competitions: Taiwan Region

This design is inspired by the pervasive gift-giving culture in modern society, especially the bouquets and promotional slogans seen everywhere on occasions like Valentine's Day and anniversaries. Strolling through shopping malls or on the street, one often sees price tags attached to bouquets symbolizing romance, while the increasing amount of packaging reflects the waste caused by excessive romance. This situation largely contributes to serious waste, blurring the line between emotion and commodity.
