Category: Footwear

Competitions: Thailand

Visualize Brutalist as an Art tendency. These style represent equality and honesty through their raw material, simple shapes and it inherent beauty. Illustrate massive structural expressionism, with nothing to covered up. Because of the growing population in post-war era. People needed a low-cost social housing. Lead to these style of architecture that have large scale and angular geometric shapes. Showcase the raw building material. As the name ‘Brutalism’ come from the french phrases ‘beton brut’(raw concrete). Brutalism was an attempt to create an architectural ethic, rather than an aesthetic. It had less to do with materials and more to do with honesty: an uncompromising desire to tell it like it is, architecturally speaking
