My project is a reflection of how nature inspires fashion. My work is supposed to showcase parts of nature and how we can use leather to create fashionable clothing. My work is inspired by valentino, versace and african tribe clothing. I am from Tanzania and a lot of tribes in Africa inspired me. The colours and the richness and vibrantness of the colours are supposed to stick out and create a contrast with the leather. A few months ago I wanted to create my own brand, but because I didn't have money I stopped believing in my dream. I hope this competition keeps that dream alive. The designs were also inspired by the patterns and designs of Guo pei, one of my favourite designers. Hope you like my work and Thank you. ~Careen Yusta Liebe
