Xin chào Ban giám khảo và các chuyên gia, tôi tên là Nguyễn Gia Hân - một nhà thiết kế trẻ đang theo đuổi đam mê tại Trường Đại học Công nghệ TP.HCM (HUTECH). Với tôi, da thuộc không chỉ là một chất liệu, mà là một thực thể sống mang hơi thở của thời gian và sự sang trọng nguyên bản. Tham gia cuộc thi lần này, tôi mong muốn kết hợp kỹ thuật chế tác thủ công tỉ mỉ cùng tư duy thiết kế hiện đại để tôn vinh giá trị của dòng da thuộc cao cấp. Mục tiêu của tôi là tạo ra những tác phẩm không chỉ dừng lại ở trang phục hay phụ kiện, mà còn tạo ra một lăng kính văn hóa, nơi những truyền thuyết dân gian Việt Nam được tái sinh đầy kiêu hãnh, mang bản sắc dân tộc chạm đến trái tim của bạn bè quốc tế. To me, leather is more than just a material. it is a living entity imbued with the breath of time and primal elegance. By joining this competition, I aspire to merge meticulous artisan craftsmanship with modern design thinking to elevate the value of ultra-luxury leather. My goal is to create pieces that transcend mere garments or accessories, acting as a cultural lens where Vietnamese folk legends are proudly reborn, allowing our national identity to resonate with the hearts of an international audience.

Inspired by the dynamic and radiant transformation of Vietnam in the Year of the Horse, 2026, the “Phi Vân” collection emerges as a harmonious dialogue between past and future. It serves as a tribute to the nation’s rich history while simultaneously standing as a proud declaration of a Vietnam that has risen from the ashes of war to stride confidently into an era of peace and prosperity. The core concept of the design is drawn from the iconic image of Thanh Giong’s iron horse - a timeless symbol of strength, resilience, and indomitable spirit. After fulfilling his mission of defeating foreign invaders, Thanh Giong rode his iron horse skyward, ascending into the heavens and leaving behind an enduring legend. This powerful moment transcends its mythical origins to become a metaphor for aspiration, embodying the spirit of freedom, independence and the relentless drive of the Vietnamese people to rise and thrive in a new era.
