Project Presentation — Ethiopia Bloom! Ethiopia Bloom was born from a quiet and poetic observation of Ethiopian nature. It is a project inspired by wonder: the wonder evoked by the richness of its wildlife, and in particular by the extraordinary variety of birds that inhabit the country. With more than 800 recorded species, 23 of which are endemic, Ethiopia holds one of the most fascinating ornithological heritages on the African continent. It is precisely from the encounter with these birds — from their light movements, the freedom of their flight, and above all the stunning colors of their feathers — that the creative soul of Ethiopia Bloom! takes shape. The intense shades, the unexpected contrasts, and the chromatic harmonies that nature composes so spontaneously become the inspiration for a collection of unique, vibrant, and unrepeatable leather bags and accessories. Each creation is conceived as a small fragment of nature transformed into an object to be carried and lived with every day. But Ethiopia Bloom! is not only about aesthetic beauty: it is also a conscious choice of sustainability and respect for materials. The project is in fact based on the recovery of leftovers leather from local industrial productions. We exclusively use leather remnants, giving new life to materials that would otherwise be discarded. Every single piece is selected, cut, and assembled entirely by hand. The composition of colors never follows a fixed scheme: it is born spontaneously, almost instinctively, guided by the inspiration of the moment. Just as in nature, where no feather is identical to another and where perfection lies precisely in unpredictability, every Ethiopia Bloom bag is different, unique, and authentic. The result is a collection that brings together: love for nature, craftsmanship, creative reuse, sustainability, and a strong artistic identity. Ethiopia Bloom! aims to express a new idea of luxury: an ethical luxury made of hands, time, recovery, and wonder. Each bag is not simply an accessory, but a story of transformation — of forgotten materials blooming again into new forms, exactly as suggested by the project’s name: Bloom. A blooming that begins in Ethiopia, from its colors, its biodiversity, and its endless ability to inspire beauty.
