Jesper Timmers

A boy, or now a man, born and raised in the Netherlands. Experienced adulthood in various countries and cultures. My name is Jesper Timmers, and life inspires me through its abundance of adventure, freedom, and daily interactions. Being fascinated by how garments are created and how they are able to convey stories, I went on a journey through the fashion industry. Well known companies, small design studios, and creative brands—I have had a wonderful experience at all. But after a while, I wanted to go for a new approach. I started this all because I wanted to know how. But now I wanted to become skilled myself in creating real products, by real humans with real emotions and a thoughtful process. I came to Schola Academy to learn and direct myself into a journey of creating that is closer to the heart. The school gave me the tools and guidance. And the environment gave me all the other parts. Inspired by storytelling, forgotten treasures, and human interactions, I created a narrative and products that are inspired by one another. Please flip through and let's discuss them together.
