I am a third-year Fashion Design student at Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art in Israel. My work explores the relationship between the body, materiality and form, with a particular interest in translating artistic and sculptural research into wearable design. Through material experimentation and craftsmanship, I develop garments that investigate structure, movement and the connection between the body and its surrounding environment. Drawing inspiration from art, architecture and personal narratives, I strive to create thoughtful designs that balance conceptual depth with functionality and contemporary relevance.

Body as Sculpture explores the relationship between the human body and leather through the language of sculpture. Inspired by Elsa Peretti’s vision of jewelry as wearable sculpture and the organic works of Henry Moore, Jean Arp, and Barbara Hepworth, the collection translates anatomical lines, movement, and negative space into contemporary garments. Traditional leather craftsmanship is combined with innovative construction techniques, including laser-cut double-sided leather fringe, handcrafted tassels, and carefully planned pattern layouts that maximize material efficiency and minimize waste. Designed to age beautifully, the project celebrates leather as a timeless material, creating a sculptural garment that balances functionality, craftsmanship, and enduring design.
