Hello, my name is Bianca. I am 21 years old and currently in my 7th semester of a Fashion Design degree. From an early stage in my academic journey, I have been deeply interested in the relationship between creativity, craftsmanship, and product development, especially in the luxury fashion sector, where material excellence and attention to detail are essential. I have previously worked as a Product Care Intern at Gucci, an experience that had a significant impact on my professional growth and helped shape my perspective on fashion products, quality standards, and luxury craftsmanship. During my time at Gucci, I developed a closer understanding of product-focused processes, with particular attention to materials, finishing, durability, and the importance of preserving the integrity and value of luxury pieces. This experience strengthened my appreciation for leather goods and for the technical precision behind premium fashion accessories. In addition to my experience at Gucci, I have also worked in other fashion retail environments as a fashion intern, where I further developed practical skills related to product analysis, visual presentation, customer experience, and market awareness. These opportunities allowed me to observe fashion not only as a creative field, but also as an industry where innovation, storytelling, and product knowledge must work together. As a fashion design student, I am especially interested in product development, materials research, and the emotional and cultural value of well-crafted pieces. Leather, in particular, fascinates me because it represents both tradition and transformation: it is a material that carries heritage, technique, and endless possibilities for reinterpretation in contemporary design. I see this competition as an opportunity to express my creative vision while honoring craftsmanship, material intelligence, and thoughtful design. My goal is to continue building a career focused on meaningful, refined, and innovative fashion products.
