I focus on leather product design, starting from the material properties, combining structural thinking and contemporary aesthetics to develop works that have both functionality and style. During the design process, I attach great importance to the integration of handcraftsmanship and modern manufacturing. Through cutting, sewing and detail processing, I show the unique texture and temperature of leather, so that the product gradually forms traces of personalization during use. My design vocabulary favors simple and rational lines, emphasizing structural logic and proportional relationships, so that the work can achieve a balance between vision and use. At the same time, I also pay attention to user experience and context, and think about the actual needs of products in daily life, so that the design not only stays in form, but also responds to user behavior and emotions. In the future, I hope to continue to explore the cross-border application of leather and different materials, combine modularization and sustainable design thinking, improve the flexibility and life cycle of products, and create design value that combines beauty, functionality and environmental awareness. 我專注於皮革產品設計，從材料特性出發，結合結構思維與當代美學，發展兼具功能性與風格的作品。在設計過程中，我重視手作工藝與現代製造的融合，透過剪裁、縫製與細節處理，展現皮革獨有的質感與溫度，使產品在使用中逐漸形成個人化的痕跡。我的設計語彙偏向簡約且理性的線條，強調結構邏輯與比例關係，讓作品在視覺與使用上達到平衡。同時，我也關注使用者體驗與情境，思考產品在日常生活中的實際需求，使設計不僅停留於形式，更能回應使用者行為與情感。未來，我期望持續探索皮革與不同材質的跨界應用，結合模組化與永續設計思維，提升產品的使用彈性與生命周期，創造兼具美感、功能與環境意識的設計價值。

Leather measuring stick 皮革量尺

This design takes "redefining daily measurement tools" as the starting point and attempts to transform the traditional function-oriented tape measure into a living object with both practicality and emotional experience. The design is inspired by the spherical structure and leather texture of basketball. Through geometric cutting vocabulary and leather covering technology, a human-centered curved surface that fits the hand is created, giving the product good stability and comfort during operation. The hidden tape measure module and rotation control mechanism are integrated internally to make the pulling and recycling actions more intuitive and smooth, while maintaining the integrity and purity of the overall shape. The outer layer is made of embossed leather, which not only improves the anti-slip effect, but also brings a warm and delicate touch, strengthening the interactive relationship between the user and the product. This design breaks through the established impression that tools are only functional. Through the integration of material, structure and operating experience, it is not only a measuring tool, but also a design object that can be played with and perceived, showing the possibility of integrating industrial design and life aesthetics. 本設計以「重新定義日常測量工具」為出發點，嘗試將傳統以功能為導向的捲尺，轉化為兼具實用性與情感體驗的生活物件。設計靈感取自籃球的球體結構與皮革紋理，透過幾何切割語彙與皮革包覆工法，形塑出符合手掌握持的人因曲面，使產品在操作過程中具備良好的穩定性與舒適度。內部整合隱藏式捲尺模組與旋轉控制機構，讓拉取與回收動作更加直覺順暢，同時維持整體造型的完整與純粹。外層採用壓紋皮革材質，不僅提升止滑效果，也帶來溫潤細膩的觸感，強化使用者與產品之間的互動關係。本設計突破工具僅具功能性的既定印象，透過材質、結構與操作體驗的整合，使其不僅是測量工具，更是一件可被把玩與感知的設計物，展現工業設計與生活美學融合的可能性。
