Hi! I'm Ilaria and I’m 23 years old. I studied at Accademia Costume e Moda and I gratuated in February 2023. I describe myself as a determined person, with a great desire to learn new things. I love the manual work and everything that requires research and the mixing of new and old materials.

RODEO

During my studies I had the possibility to participate at the Talent 2023 and I was able to work on my personal accessories project entitled RODEO. Through this project based on spaghetti-western by Sergio Leone and western comics, I was able to learn how to work on the leather and what were the processes on it. My references were the artisanal processes such as hand filling and ties, that I put on bags and women's shoes. I had the possibility to use leather to create corsets with bolos. I also focused on the upcycling of denim and sustainability, using 80’s archive pieces in a modern way, making vintage contemporary again. I ejoyed this experience very much and I’m glad my ideas have come true.
