Vietnam
I am a Vietnamese designer rooted in cultural memory and driven by personal transformation. Growing up surrounded by layers of tradition — architecture, mythology, craftsmanship — I became fascinated by how culture is not static, but something that evolves through each generation. My work does not replicate historical motifs; instead, it translates their structural essence into contemporary forms. Personal growth plays a central role in my creative process. Every experience, challenge, and transition becomes material. I am drawn to the idea of layering — how identity forms over time, how strength is built quietly, and how protection can exist without aggression. Leather, structure, and construction often appear in my work because I see design as architecture for the body. Each piece becomes a dialogue between origin and future, memory and movement. All my designs explore one recurring question: How can tradition move forward without losing its depth? Through material honesty and structural clarity, I aim to create works that feel grounded yet forward-looking — rooted in Vietnamese culture, but not confined by it.
