Hi, I’m Heitor! My passion lies in transforming ideas into products that go beyond mere function—products that tell stories, build identities, and connect with culture. Currently, I am a footwear design Intern at Alpargatas. In this role, I work at the intersection of product design, fashion, and brand strategy, which has deeply influenced my professional perspective. I’ve had the chance to work on special Havaianas collaborations with brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Gigi Hadid, Patta, and Zellerfeld. These experiences have given me hands-on insight into the worlds of innovation, trends, and fashion design. Pursuing a degree in Product Design at FATEC, I am constantly refining my craft. I invest heavily in essential tools like sketching and 3D modeling, which are vital to my creative process. I view design not just as a visual tool, but as a strategic force capable of creating true distinction.

Project Concept: The Modular Ballet Flat Design Ethos This footwear concept redefines the traditional ballet flat by merging timeless aesthetics with a circular design philosophy. It is a dialogue between raw materials and modern construction, where every element serves both a functional and a narrative purpose. Materiality & Construction The design explores the tactile contrast between organic and high-performance materials: The Upper: Crafted from leather, providing a soft, anatomical fit. The Sole: A robust rubber foundation that ensures durability and grip. The Connection: Breaking away from traditional adhesives, the union between the sole and the upper is made through a hand-woven leather and straw lacing system. This modular approach allows for easy disassembly, making the product fully recyclable and repairable. The Experience Designed to be worn with cotton socks, the piece embraces a contemporary silhouette that is currently trending in global fashion. It’s not just a shoe; it’s a sustainable statement.
