I am a student at Shih Chien University, studying Fashion Design and Management. I really love making things with my hands, and I think leather is a very special material. It is strong, beautiful, and can be used in many different ways. Since I was young, I have liked drawing and designing. Now, at university, I have more chances to learn about clothes, bags, and different materials. Leather is one of my favorites because it feels nice and can be made into many shapes. I want to use leather to tell stories with my design. For this leather design competition, I want to show my ideas and try something new. I hope to make a design that is not only useful but also shows part of my culture. I am from Taiwan, and I want people to see some Taiwanese style in my work. I want to learn from other designers and improve my skills. I hope my design can make people feel something when they see it. This is a great chance for me to grow, and I will do my best.

Competitions: Taiwan Region

I am a student at Shih Chien University, studying Fashion Design and Management. This bag is called “Use Me Again” because I hope people will use it for a long time. Many things today are made to be used once and then thrown away. I want to do something different. The design of my bag is strong and special. It is made with layers and solid parts to make sure it lasts. I also chose colors and shapes that are not easy to go out of style. This way, people can use the bag again and again, and it will still look good. The shape is inspired by things we wear on our bodies, like armor or tools. It’s not just a fashion item—it’s something useful and fun. The straps and parts are designed to be strong but also comfortable. It’s a bag you can trust and keep. By designing this, I want to remind people that a good product should stay with you for a long time. Let’s not throw things away too fast. If something is made with heart and care, we can use it again—and again.
