Graduated in Fashion Design from IED Milan, I specialised in Pattern Making and have a strong aptitude for visual research. A lover of beauty in all its forms, I enjoy observing the world through a different lens to find wonder in even the smallest things, aiming to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

To be, who? What? Rimbaud would reply: another. Conceiving subjectivity involves imagining a universe rich with countless identities, where the notion of a static self gives way to exploration beyond oneself. This collection draws inspiration from mythological and alchemical forms, weaving a mysterious narrative that fragments and reassembles a series of genderless accessories. Circularity and upcycling are fundamental to material research. The design ethos revolves around the narrative of “becoming other,” transforming fashion industry waste and scraps into sculptural bags made entirely from “leather from cow hide up.” The selection of hides involved recovering defective warehouse stock and repurposing pre-existing used garments. Textile manipulation techniques were developed to further enhance small leather scraps and offcuts, unifying various hides and creating seamless patchworks. The Boro Sashiko technique was reinterpreted by layering different leathers, machine stitching, and then manually tearing them. This process resulted in faded, organic textures with abstract patterns. Additionally, leathers from vintage garments were hand-painted, either with flat color washes for uniformity or using natural pigments to highlight stitches and create subtle gradients.
