The Dream Trip Project

This project was born from one of the most meaningful experiences of my life so far: an empowering 6-month journey I took last year across various countries in South-East Asia and Oceania. Initially, I thought to create a piece for each country I visited, but as time was going by, it appeared to make more sense to find the common thread between each of them, and create a piece from there. Three elements stuck out as a common theme to all 7 countries: the Sun, the Waves and the Mountain. Very naturally, three bags started to take shape in my mind, each representing one element, as well as combining some hints of the other ones. This project is an ode to the most impressive artist of all times, Nature, that this "Dream Trip" revealed to me. All three bags are made with suede leather for the exterior and with silk bourette for the interior, and two of them also contain calf leather.
