My name is zin. I'm 23 year old. I am currently studying Fashion Design at Thammasat University in Thailand. I am passionate about creativity, clothing design, and visual storytelling. I enjoy exploring different styles and expressing identity through fashion
This collection is inspired by contemporary Thai art, weaving narratives into intricate patterns crafted through traditional cowhide-carving techniques by local artisans, alongside laser cutting, hand-painting, coloring, and leather layering. It is a true reflection of Thai craftsmanship, where every line, highlight, and shadow is meticulously detailed by hand. Juxtaposed with modern Gothic silhouettes, the design infuses these rich textures with a fierce, powerful, and commanding edge
“Remains” – Death for Rebirth
Inspired by the phenomenon of whale fall, where a whale’s carcass sinks to the ocean floor and becomes a vital source of nourishment and shelter for deep-sea creatures, this concept explores the idea of death as a beginning. We revive discarded or leftover cowhide from the industrial system by reconstructing it into new surfaces and structures, giving what was once dead a new purpose and form.
