Qingyi Zhang is an accomplished fashion and costume designer with a Master’s degree from Oslo National Academy of the Arts and dual Bachelor’s degrees from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. Her work blends artistic vision with technical expertise, focusing on innovative design methodologies and the intersection of body, gender, and society. Qingyi has worked on significant projects such as film costume production and somatic costume design for public art. Her designs have been showcased in exhibitions across Europe and China. Qingyi’s unique approach and diverse experiences make her a standout talent in the international design community.

This project explores the profound physiological and psychological impacts of dysmenorrhea on women through multi-sensory experiences and visual expressions. The aim is to raise public awareness of this common but often overlooked issue. By integrating historical and contemporary understandings of women's physiological health, the project features innovative clothing designs.
