Delight Fashion School

I am a Kenyan fashion designer, creative visionary, and founder of Miss Kibichi,a bold sustainable fashion brand exploring the future of luxury through innovation, craftsmanship, and storytelling. Rooted in contemporary African creativity, my work merges couture aesthetics with conscious design to create pieces that are emotionally resonant, functional, and intentionally crafted. Driven by a passion for sustainability, artistic expression, and meaningful design, I use fashion as a medium to challenge convention while celebrating individuality, culture, and identity. My designs combine experimental silhouettes, leather craftsmanship, and modern luxury with a strong commitment to ethical and forward-thinking fashion practices. Through Miss Kibichi, I aim to contribute to a new generation of African luxury, one that values creativity, innovation, sustainability, and lasting impact on both people and the planet.

STATE OF MATTER

STATE OF MATTER State of Matter is a modular handbag system inspired by the transformation of matter. The design explores the relationship between adaptability, structure, and personal expression through three detachable modules representing Vapor, Liquid, and Ice. While matter changes form, it remains fundamentally the same. This principle became the foundation of the design. Each module functions independently as a complete bag, yet can be connected to create a larger system tailored to the user's needs. The Vapor module represents freedom, movement, and spontaneity. The Liquid module represents adaptability and transformation. The Ice module represents structure, stability, and permanence. Together, they create an evolving object that responds to different moments, environments, and lifestyles. The bag is constructed using glossy crocodile-embossed leather in black, silver, and burgundy, unified through a brushed silver hardware system. Rather than relying on multiple materials, the design uses one leather family to emphasize that transformation can occur through form, function, and configuration. State of Matter is designed around adaptive architecture. Each module has its own purpose and organization system, allowing users to customize how they carry and access their belongings. The result is a luxury accessory that shifts between everyday use, work, travel, and special occasions without losing its identity. The project reflects Miss Kibichi's vision of bold, transformative design that encourages users to occupy space confidently while embracing change.
