Hello, My name is 陳持允. I am a student from Shih Chien University and major in Fashion Design. Since childhood, I was interested in art like painting, drawing and music. And when I grow up, I keep exploring new hobbies such as photography and calligraphy. These things make me full of the sense of achievement, and I suppose that I expert in this field. Nowaday, i enjoy in fashion design. This is also all I want to do in the future. So to come close to my dream, I participate in this compitition to get some different experience and give myself a mark !

The Land , The Heart- Island Resilience

This work is inspired by Taiwan’s coastal algae reefs and intertidal landscapes, translating the eroded textures of shoreline rock formations into a sculptural handbag form. Molded leather is used to express the layered and fluid qualities of terrain, while knitted elements are embedded within the recessed areas to simulate moss and algae growing persistently in harsh environments. The contrast between rigid leather and soft textile highlights the coexistence of strength and fragility found in nature. Extending the core idea of The Land, The Heart-Island Resilience, the piece reflects the emotional connection between people and the land. Through its foldable structure, the object unfolds like a landscape in use, suggesting how life continuously adapts and evolves under the influence of time and environment.
