Tram Le

Vietnam

Hello, my name is Le Thi Bich Tram, and I am currently a student majoring in Fashion Design at Hoa Sen University. From a young age, I have always had a deep passion for art and creativity, which naturally led me to pursue a career in the fashion industry. For me, fashion is not just about clothing—it is a powerful form of self-expression. Through every design I create, I tell a story, reflect a mood, or capture a moment that resonates with who I am and how I see the world.Studying Fashion Design allows me to explore endless creative possibilities. I enjoy experimenting with different fabrics, silhouettes, and techniques to bring my ideas to life. Every new project gives me a chance to challenge myself and grow not only as a designer but also as an artist. I find inspiration in many things around me—from nature, architecture, and music to the emotions and experiences of daily life. What excites me most about fashion is its ability to constantly evolve. Trends change, but the desire to express identity through style remains timeless. I love trying different styles and combining traditional elements with modern aesthetics to create something unique and meaningful. My goal is to continue learning, pushing creative boundaries, and one day contribute something valuable to the fashion world. I believe that with passion, hard work, and an open mind, I can grow into a designer who not only creates beautiful clothes but also inspires others through my work.

THE STORY OF CERAMICS

Category: Apparel

Competitions: Vietnam

THE STORY OF CERAMICS Inspired by the transformative journey of clay and its morphological evolution, "The Story of Ceramics" collection deconstructs the signature silhouettes of traditional vases through a defiant Avant-Garde lens. By distilling the essence of Tran Dynasty brown-patterned ceramics and weaving it into a modern geometric language, the collection portrays a multi-dimensional aesthetic that embodies limitless audacity in design. This is more than a statement of the emerging generation’s artistic identity; it is a journey to honor and revitalize Vietnamese heritage within the pulse of contemporary fashion. Delving into the formative language, this competition entry is a breakthrough experiment in structure, utilizing the human body as a central axis to develop diverse volumetric forms. The garment meticulously emulates the anatomy of a ceramic treasure: the upper bodice captures the ethereal elegance of a vase’s rim, while the skirt is architectural, grounded in the sturdiness of the vase’s body. Upon this structural foundation, iconic motifs such as the lotus, foliage, and butterflies are softly stylized, creating a visual symphony that harmonizes the rebellious spirit of futuristic fashion with the nostalgic breath of ancient ceramics. Craftsmanship is elevated to its pinnacle through specialized surface treatments, including leather carving, intricate embossing, and specialized dyeing techniques to achieve an authentic antique ceramic patina. Notably, the 3D sculptural forms at the hem are masterfully constructed, creating expressive undulating rhythms that liberate the garment from conventional flat limitations. This work is not merely a tribute to Vietnamese ceramic artistry; it is an endeavor to redefine heritage through the bold and liberated vision of ancient artisans, reimagined through a contemporary design perspective.
