I’m Tung – a beginner leather shoemaker and craftsperson living in Ho Chi Minh City. My journey into leather began 4 years ago out of a love for craftsmanship and timeless materials. What started as a hobby soon evolved into a deep passion for shoemaking. I am trying every day to specialize in handcrafted leather shoes, combining traditional techniques with my own modern design sensibility. I'm focused on quality, sustainability, and individuality in every pair I make. For me, leatherwork is about patience, precision, and storytelling. Each piece carries a bit of the maker's soul—and I aim to make pieces that last, both in build and meaning. I'm excited to be part of this competition to share my perspective on leathercraft and connect with others who are passionate about the art. It’s a chance to learn, grow, and celebrate the tradition.
