Intertwined with tradition and style - The Jawaja Tote Bag

Category: Accessories

Competitions: International

Intertwined with tradition and style - The Jawaja Tote Bag The Jawaja Tote Bag blends minimal aesthetic with intricate craftsmanship. It intertwines the traditional leather crafting practices of the Jawaja Craft Cluster in Rajasthan, ensuring the connection to its origin, with a contemporary, minimalist structural design. The handcrafted leather bag is characterized by minimal structure featuring an intricate work on the handles. The handles feature a specialized knotting technique - the round crown sinnet technique. The innovation of this technique allows for its application along the same strap of leather which has been spitted into stripes. This innovation minimizes the need for additional materials and features a dramatic touch to the bag’s minimalist silhouette. The sewing of the leather shoulder bag is exquisitely hand stitched with thin leather strips, featuring diamond-shaped stitches which is the identity of the Jawaja craft cluster, that ensure the product’s durability. The bag’s interior features a vibrant block-printed fabric, adding a pop of color into the user’s experience.
