I am a fourth-year BA Fashion Design student specialising in leatherwork across garments and accessories, with a strong focus on craftsmanship, material innovation, and sustainable practice. After completing a year in industry within the luxury fashion sector, I am now finishing my degree with an emphasis on longevity, quality, and responsible design. My work spans both menswear and womenswear, often informed by masculine construction techniques and traditional craft processes reinterpreted in a contemporary context. Leather sits at the core of my practice, valued for its durability, versatility, and potential for long-lasting design. I have undertaken the Leather Sellers’ Masterclass, developing a strong technical understanding of leather sourcing, selection, and application, and completed a Central Saint Martins Design Innovation short course, further strengthening my innovation-led approach. Sustainability underpins my design philosophy, with a focus on creating considered, enduring pieces that celebrate leather as a natural, long-life material — designed to evolve, age, and be worn over time.
