Profano Coração

Category: Apparel

Competitions: Brazil

"Profano Coração" is the meeting of tradition with the new. Celebrating the history of Ceará, a land known for its roots in the leather economy and artisanal craftsmanship, the project translates manual techniques into a modern and youthful style. Invoking the artisanal style similar to Espedito Seleiro, a regional cultural heritage, and the historic bobbin lace, Profano Coração seeks to connect with new generations, especially the growing and vibrant nightlife of the capital, Fortaleza.

Working with our partners at Arts Thread to develop lifelong learning and career opportunities for students of fashion and design. Our partnership provides the opportunity to compete on a world stage, participate in industry led workshops, set up an outstanding portfolio and gain access to the resources that will kickstart careers in fashion and design.
